River Forest Chocolates was founded in 2010, after a lifelong passion for baking,cooking and creating delicious sweets by Madonna Fantetti-Slepicka, with a belief that "Chocolate makes life a little sweeter". The signature English Toffee and Caramels were the benchmark upon opening and continue to be sought after confections. This River Forest shop has grown and now offers a full compliment of chocolates and confections. Retro candy and "penny" candy have since become a favorite at this shop. With a new expanded kitchen and a much larger retail space, RFC has expanded product offerings to include many seasonal items as well as many imported and hard to find confections. Caramel apples, hand dipped ice cream bars, frozen chocolate bananas, vegan chocolates and seasonal barks are a few of the new favorties being offered.
