It’s common to smell the aroma of bakeries or fresh-roasted coffee drifting through the alleyways near West Jordan Street. On summer nights, the sound of bluegrass music often drifts on the breeze. In our walkable downtown, you’ll find gift shops, artisan boutiques, galleries, and a few brewpubs along the sidewalks. Around here, local people keep Brevard’s heart beating. Our independent merchants play a key role in keeping downtown lively, supporting jobs and small-town spirit. I'm Lori, a Local Account Manager at LoLo. I’m from Cincinnati (go Bengals, go Reds, go Cyclones) and yes, I enjoy Cincinnati Chili (it’s gotta be Camp Washington Chili for me). I have lived in Asheville since 2009, and I enjoy spending time with friends and family in the woods, and of course visiting local breweries, cafes, and restaurants in the area. Being a Local Account Manager is important to me because I’m a huge proponent of supporting local businesses in the community. I have worked in family-run businesses in both Ohio, and in Asheville and it means so much to the business to get the support of the community around them. I very much enjoy searching for, and featuring the businesses in your area, and my biggest hope is that you will go try the local spots we feature… and become a repeat customer!
