How to Get Featured by LoLo

Every month, real estate agents and other sales professionals use LoLo to send their clients a gift from a local business. Your business is named right in the email and text, so people know exactly where to go and who to thank. Here’s what we look for and what you can expect.

Who we feature

We work with independently owned businesses. No franchises or chains, though locally owned restaurant groups are welcome.

You need a place people can visit, such as a storefront or a food truck with a permanent spot. It should be easy to find, so we skip businesses inside another business or a shopping mall. Food halls are the exception.

You can have up to five locations in a metro area. If you have more than one nearby, every location must accept the gift, so no recipient gets turned away. Open four or more days a week, so recipients have plenty of time to redeem. Open fewer days? Let’s talk it through.

Our favorite kind of merchant is counter service, one location, a team of ten or fewer. That’s a sweet spot, not a requirement.

What your gift looks like

One specific item you’re known for, worth in the neighborhood of $10. A BBQ sandwich with chips. Six cookies. A house plant. Recipients know exactly what they’re getting, which is why they show up. Gifts go to one person, so think single-serve.

Breweries, wineries, and distilleries are welcome. A pretzel at a brewery is just a pretzel. Beer is an alcohol gift, and alcohol gifts must follow local laws. Since every state is different, you probably know better than us; let us know what you need.

How you get paid

It costs you nothing. Your business is featured by name in the emails and texts agents send to their clients, and you’re paid in full for every redeemed gift. Every merchant earns at least $100 just for taking part. You choose how you get paid, and we set it up when your campaign begins. If this sounds too good to be true, check out the testimonials from businesses like yours.

Working together works like this

The local account manager assigned to your community helps you pick the right month and prep your team. We ask for three things: staff who can explain the gift at the counter, a quick reply by phone or email during setup, and a team comfortable checking a gift on a customer’s phone.

Tell us about your business.
