Somewhere between a Kentucky farm and two decades in Asheville, Richard developed an eye for quality that LoLo depends on daily. He’s the person reviewing the curators’ work to make sure every gift feels intentional and worth receiving. And if anything goes amiss, he’s Johnny on the spot to make sure no one is the wiser. He landed at UNC-Asheville in 2005 and stuck around for the food, the mountains, and the music. Most evenings you’ll find him cooking something ambitious, exploring a trail with his dog, or joining his partner for a live show.
